Overwatch: A Beginner’s Guide

Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer shooter created by Blizzard Entertainment.

The game is played in teams of six and has a modern design with various different maps to choose from. Alongside the main 6v6 game, there are various other game variations to choose from while playing Overwatch, varying from games against AI-controlled characters to custom games where you can choose how the game works based on your preferences.

The game has been around since 2016 on PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows, and on Nintendo Switch since 2019. This game is considered one of the best video games of all time, winning various awards and amassing a player base larger than most other first-person shooters.

If you like games that are very dynamic, with complex tactics and strategies you can implement to get an edge, then Overwatch might be the game for you.

With 30 characters to choose from, all with various abilities and moves, there are no simple team composition strategies that can swing the entire game in your favor. This helps keep the game interesting and allows skill and deep strategies to be the focal point of the game.

With fast-paced gameplay and a lot of variation, Overwatch has garnered a lot of attention in the professional gaming scene and is a game we predict will keep going from strength to strength well into the future.
