Privacy policy

The short version: you can use Esportsresults without an account, and we collect as little as possible.

This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

You can use the whole site without an account. If you browse without signing in, we don't know who you are.

• If you create an account: your email address, and the country you signed up from.
• If you sign in with Discord or Google: only your verified email address. No username, profile picture or other profile data.
• If you set up match alerts: the Discord, Telegram or WeCom details you enter, and the games, teams and leagues you picked.
• If you send feedback while signed in: what you wrote and the page you were on.
• If you email us: your message and email address, kept only as long as needed to reply.

Like any website, our servers also see basic technical data (IP address, browser, device) for security and traffic statistics. It is not linked to your account.

Only to run the site for you:

• Signing you in and keeping the teams you follow and your starred matches in sync across devices
• Sending the match alerts you asked for
• Fixing bugs, keeping the site secure and understanding overall traffic

We don't send marketing emails. Your email address is stored encrypted.

We use a few cookies:

• Sign-in cookies: only if you sign in, so the site remembers you.
• Google Analytics: counts visits so we can see which pages are popular.
• cookie-consent: remembers your answer to the cookie banner, so it isn't shown again.

In the EU, UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics only sets cookies after you accept the cookie banner; until then it runs without cookies. The sponsor banner is a plain link that sets no cookies; if you open it, the advertiser's own privacy policy applies on their site.

These providers help run the site, each under its own privacy policy:

• Cloudflare: hosting, and bot protection on the sign-in form
• Resend: sends sign-in emails
• Google: Analytics and optional Google sign-in
• Discord: optional sign-in and match alerts
• Telegram, WeCom: match alerts
• Ahrefs: anonymous visitor statistics
• PandaScore (match data) and Anthropic (AI match summaries): neither receives any data about you

We don't share your account data with any of them for advertising.

You're in control of your data:

• Browse without an account. No personal data needed.
• Download your data, sign out everywhere, or delete your account from your account page
• Ask us to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you

If you live in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your verified email address and use it only to create your account, sign you in and let you manage or delete it. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove this site's access at any time in your Google security settings.

Some match pages show YouTube videos using YouTube API Services. When a video loads, Google and YouTube may collect data such as your IP address and device information, under the Google Privacy Policy.

By watching YouTube content here, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can review or remove this site's access in your Google security settings.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
