About us

Esportsresults.com is a live score tracker for competitive gaming. Scores, results, schedules, head-to-head records and in-game stats, all in one place and updated in real time.

The site started as a personal project born out of frustration with scattered, slow, or ad-heavy esports coverage. The goal is simple: if a match is happening right now, you should be able to find the score in seconds.

What we cover

Major tournaments and regional leagues across all the big genres:

You can set up alerts for your favourite teams on Discord, Telegram, or WeCom so you never miss a match going live.

Who's behind it

Teemu Pesonen, founder and editor. Been following competitive gaming since 2005, works in digital media and web development. Handles everything from editorial direction to the code running the site.

Data sources

Match data, schedules, and team rosters come from PandaScore, which covers 25+ titles and thousands of tournaments a year. Live in-game stats for CS2 and Dota 2 (round scores, kills, player breakdowns) are sourced from Grid.gg directly from game servers.

Some pages are built from data we collect ourselves rather than buy: team power rankings are an Elo rating calculated from completed matches in our own database, and player team histories come from roster changes we have observed since July 2026.

AI match recaps. The short recap on completed match pages is written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude), and is labelled "AI-generated" on the page. The model is given only the match data we hold (teams, tournament, format, final score, and per-map results) and is instructed to use nothing else. Recaps are not edited by hand, so if one gets something wrong, the scoreboard above it is the source of truth. Please let us know if you spot an error.
