LOS hold All Gamers to one attacking round at the Osaka Major

LOS took the first half on defense five rounds to one, and that set up a 1-0 victory over All Gamers at the BLAST R6 Major Osaka on Friday, Nov 6.

Two league seeds in the play-in

LOS qualified as the fourth seed from South America League Stage 2. In the playoffs there they won 2-0 against FURIA on Oct 9, then lost 0-2 to Fluxo W7M the next day. That seed put LOS in Phase 1, the eight-team play-in where four places in the 16-team Swiss stage are decided.

Three of the eight places went to CN League Stage 2, and All Gamers came in as its second seed. They lost both of their league playoff meetings with EDward Gaming 0-2, on Oct 17 and Oct 18.

Closing it out on attack

Polymarket had LOS at 87% at kickoff. After the switch All Gamers won two rounds on defense, but LOS took the two they still needed on attack and won the map.

LOS’s Daffo was Liquipedia’s match MVP.

The match drew a bigger peak audience than the opener, 13,143 viewers on the streams we track against 11,129 for DarkZero and TYLOO.

What’s next for LOS

LOS face DarkZero, the Salt Lake City Major champions, in a best-of-three upper-bracket semifinal, and the winner goes through to the Swiss stage.
